What I'm Doing Now

I am now moving on to one of my original characters. I find the concept of the design to be more challenging than some of my previous pieces. Most of my time has been spent working on the chains that are wrapped around her body. More detail and complexity will come as I slowly work on setting the chain within the skin of the character and fade her into the shadows surrounding her. The marking on her helmet is something I had not done before this painting and find it fitting for her back story. Upon completion, I may be moving back into the horror genre with my art and explore some suggestions made to me within the past few months or I'll continue with the trend of painting more serious pieces of my mass list of original characters.
